I got caught up in a wedding parades in Oaxaca, Mexico. The happy couple were being escorted through the streets by these animated, living scarecrow type folk, swirling to the sounds of the mariachi bands, with big hats, big tongues and coats made of rags. Known as Tiliches, which translate roughly as trinkets or belongings, they participate in all types of festivals across that part of Mexico.
